Privacy policy
Information on how we process your data, pursuant to Art. 13 GDPR.
1. Controller
The controller for data processing on this website is:
Punkt Transport
Reichsapfelstraße 18, 65201 Wiesbaden, Germany
Phone: +49 176 22704938
Email: info@punkt-transport.de
2. Principles
We process personal data only to the extent necessary to operate this website and to handle your enquiries. This website sets no cookies, uses no analytics or tracking services and embeds no external content. Fonts are served from our own server, not from Google Fonts or any other third party.
3. Visiting the website (server log files)
When you access this website, our hosting provider processes technically necessary access data. This usually includes:
- the address (URL) requested, plus date and time of access
- the volume of data transferred and confirmation of successful retrieval
- browser type and version, operating system used
- your device's IP address
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR. Our legitimate interest lies in the technically error-free operation and security of the website. This data is not merged with other data sources and is deleted automatically after 30 days at the latest. It is not evaluated for advertising or analytics purposes.
4. Contact and quote request forms
When you send us an enquiry through one of the forms, we process the data you enter in order to answer your enquiry and, where applicable, prepare a quote. Depending on the form this covers:
- name, email address, phone number and — if provided — company name
- addresses of origin and destination, floor, lift, property size and preferred date
- the extra services you selected and your free-text message
The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (b) GDPR (pre-contractual measures) and, for the consent you explicitly confirm in the form, Art. 6 (1) (a) GDPR. You may withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future, for example by emailing info@punkt-transport.de.
We store your enquiry until it has been fully dealt with and delete it no later than six months afterwards. If a contract is concluded, the statutory commercial and tax retention periods apply (generally six or ten years).
Providing your data is voluntary. Without the fields marked as mandatory — your name and one way of contacting you — we cannot answer your enquiry; you may leave every other field blank.
Spam protection
The forms contain an additional field that is invisible to you, plus a measurement of how long the form took to complete. Both serve solely to detect automated submissions. No behavioural analysis takes place and no data is transmitted to third parties for this purpose. The legal basis is Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR.
Delivery of the form emails
Your enquiry is delivered via the mail server of our hosting provider — the same one that handles our other email. No additional delivery provider is involved, and no data is transferred to a third country outside the EU in the process.
5. Contact by phone, email or WhatsApp
If you call us or send an email, we process the resulting data in order to handle your request (Art. 6 (1) (b) or (f) GDPR).
Our website contains links to WhatsApp. A connection to WhatsApp is established, and your message processed there, only once you click such a link. The provider is WhatsApp Ireland Limited, Merrion Road, Dublin 4, Ireland. Processing within WhatsApp is governed by their privacy terms, over which we have no influence. If you would rather avoid this, please use the phone, email or our form.
6. External links
Our website links to Google Maps (directions) and Facebook. These services are not embedded, only linked — data is therefore transferred to the respective providers only when you deliberately click the link. The providers of those destination sites are responsible for processing that takes place there.
7. Recipients of the data
We only pass on your data where this is necessary to perform the contract (for instance to a further carrier we commission, see clause 1 of our terms and conditions), where we are legally obliged to do so, or where you have consented. Our hosting and email providers are bound by data processing agreements.
8. Your rights
You have the right at any time to:
- access the data stored about you (Art. 15 GDPR)
- rectification of inaccurate data (Art. 16 GDPR)
- erasure (Art. 17 GDPR)
- restriction of processing (Art. 18 GDPR)
- data portability (Art. 20 GDPR)
- object to processing based on Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR (Art. 21 GDPR)
- withdraw consent with effect for the future (Art. 7 (3) GDPR)
An informal message to info@punkt-transport.de is enough.
9. Right to lodge a complaint
You have the right to lodge a complaint with a data protection supervisory authority. The authority for us is:
Der Hessische Beauftragte für Datenschutz und Informationsfreiheit
Postfach 3163, 65021 Wiesbaden, Germany
datenschutz.hessen.de
10. No automated decision-making
We do not use profiling or automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR. Your enquiry and any quote are decided on by people.
11. Encryption
This website is delivered over an encrypted connection (TLS/HTTPS). You can recognise this by the padlock symbol in your browser's address bar. Form data is protected in transit as a result.
12. Changes to this policy
We update this privacy policy whenever the technology behind this website or the legal situation changes. The version published here is the one that applies.
